Through proper education, any person can develop socially, emotionally, and professionally.The zonal Education office becomes the entity that works closely with the school community in establishing the learning and teaching process by changing the shape of education to suit the rapidly changing socio-economic conditions as an institute.

It is a pleasure to be the Zonal Director of Education in the Colombo education zone, which comprises of a passionate and committed staff who provides a quality service to a diverse community in ethnicity and religion. It is my main responsibility to lead officers in the zonal education office to provide quality service using modern technology by reorganizing the office work environment and work culture in order to meet the needs of clients and provide them with satisfactory service.
